About the Catalogue:   This database holds over 10,000 records of 18,000 plus monograph titles, audiovisual materials, and vertical file materials at the FMHI Library. There are a number of state documents, working drafts, and position papers that will be found only on this database. Many of the records on this database include table of contents listings, scope notes, or enhanced subject headings. This is an ongoing project. Read about the development of this database and catalogue.

How to Search:   There are several ways to search more effectively. Key words should be searched across the NOTES field, the ABSTRACT field, and the DESCRIPTOR field. At this time you can only search across two fields simultaneously using an OR operator. If you, for example want to find materials on violence or abuse, you should search the two of the three fields (NOTES, ABSTRACT), and then go back and search using the same key words in the third field (DESCRIPTOR). There may be some overlap but you will pull up exclusive items as well.
