Library Projects: 1999: Enhancing Student Research Capabilities through Specialized Curriculum Support Pages
To enhance student effectiveness when performing research, it is essential that the student has a good understanding of the available resources specific to that discipline and/or course topic area. Over the last five years, the de la Parte Institute has been providing specialized presentations and instruction over the web upon the request of faculty. This has included the development of PowerPoint presentations, links to specific web resources inside and outside the USF Virtual Library, and course-specific instruction provided virtually over the internet. The presentations and support pages showcased at the Symposium are now found on the Institute's Instruction and Reference pages.
