The University of South Florida is a multi-campus national research university that supports the development of the metropolitan Tampa Bay Region, Florida, the United States and the world. “The second goal is to be a national leader in translating the findings of mental health services research into action through scholarly publication and ongoing technical assistance to policymakers and services providers in their efforts to apply emerging knowledge toward the solution of critical human problems.”

RESEARCH LIBRARY MISSION
The mission of the de la Parte Institute Research Library is to provide services which support the activities of the Institute, the University, and as directed by the Institute’s legislative mandate (This includes research support and library instruction, dissemination of information essential to the Institute's projects, and support of the University's academic programs).

  1. to serve members of our statewide constituency, and USF faculty, staff and students,
  2. to respond to the transformation of information dissemination patterns from print to electronic,
  3. to support changing methods of education and research, and
  4. to house technologies to streamline service and enhance the research activities of the Institute, its Library, and its patrons.
