VISITOR INFORMATION

The Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute is located on the northwest corner of the University of South Florida's Tampa campus near the intersection of Fletcher Avenue and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard corner. Our street address is 13301 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, Tampa, Florida 33612. For more information, call (813) 974-4602 or SUNCOM 574-4602.

Visitor Parking
All visitors must acquire a parking pass from the Campus Information Services at the Fowler Avenue entrance. This includes anyone parking in the free remote lots. Free visitor parking (marked in yellow on the parking map) is available on parts of the USF campus with the University shuttle service (see below or to your right) available to the Institute. Free parking is also available in the Park-n-Ride Lot #43 located on North Palm Drive and West Holly Drive.

A $3.00 visitor parking pass allows parking near the Institute in the lot located on the corner of Bruce B. Downs and Fletcher Avenue (38C) or on the grass lot on the east side of the main building (38T)(see Institute site map). Permit vending machines are located in lot 38C and require correct change or currency.

USF Parking and Shuttle Service Information
You can get to the Institute using USF's Shuttle Service. The Shuttle Service operates continuously Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am until 9:00 pm, and Friday from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm. (Hours of operation subject to change). The Institute is located in the northwest corner of the map in the building labeled MHC. The Westside Conference Center is located at MHA. Shuttles C or D drop you off at Westside (MHA). Only Route D (yellow) connects to Parking Lot 43 which is the closest free Visitor Parking lot.

Directions
From I-75, take the Fletcher Avenue exit 266 (CR 582-A) and proceed west. Travel approximately 4.4 miles to Bruce B. Downs Blvd., just past University Community Hospital. Turn left (south) onto Bruce B. Downs Blvd. At the next traffic light, turn left into the University on Holly Drive. Take Holly Drive to South Cypress. Turn left on South Cypress leading to the Institute and the Westside Conference Center.

From I-275, take the Fletcher Avenue exit 52 (CR 579-A) and proceed east. Travel approximately 1.7 miles to Bruce B. Downs Blvd. Turn right (south) onto Bruce B. Downs Blvd. At the next traffic light, turn left into the University on Holly Drive. Take Holly Drive to South Cypress. Turn left on South Cypress leading to the Institute and the Westside Conference Center.

From Fowler Avenue, turn north onto Bruce B. Downs Blvd. and travel to the traffic light just past the USF Medical Clinics. Turn right into the University on Holly Drive. Take Holly Drive to South Cypress. Turn left on South Cypress leading to the Institute and the Westside Conference Center.
