A College of the University of South Florida

RESEARCH
The de la Parte Institute was created over 25 years ago by the Florida Legislature to expand our knowledge about how best to serve the mental health needs of Florida's citizen. We use applied research techniques to understand practical problems, and develop and disseminate state-of-the-art technology and knowledge to improve human services. The Institute seeks to increase Americans' awareness of issues in mental health and improve the formulation and implementation of public policy. Much of our research is available to the public via online or print publications.
