" Florida Coalition for Optimal Mental Health and Aging to Host Seventh Annual Conference in October"

The Florida Coalition for Optimal Mental Health and Aging will hold it Seventh Annual Conference on Monday and Tuesday, October 25 and 26, 2004, at the Rosen Centre Hotel, Orlando. The conference will feature several nationally recognized experts and will offer continuing education credits for Certified Addiction Professionals, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners, Marriage and Family Therapists, Mental Health Counselors, Nurses, Nursing Home Administrators, Psychologists, Guardians, and Social Workers. Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, pharmacists, physicians, geriatric specialists, aging network staff, elder consumers and caregivers, and others interested in quality care for older adults are also invited. The Coalition is a statewide advocacy and educational organization working for improved mental health and substance abuse services for older Floridians. Register by October 4, 2004, for a reduced conference fee of $135 for Florida Coalition members and $165 for non-members.
