were invited to meet with Mayor Iorio at City Hall.

USF Assistant Professor Dr. Jennifer Baggerly was one of 17, out of 80 applicants from across the nations, selected to provide Sri Lankan children play therapy techniques to increase their coping skills. Dr. Baggerly will present her story on March 24, from noon to 1:00 pm at the Florida Mental Health Institute.

Distinguished Speaker Professor Robert Putnam of Harvard University and author or "Bowling Alone: The Collapse and Revival of American Community," is coming to the Tampa Convention Center, Thursday, March 31, 2005, 9-10:15 a.m. He will be presenting on his concept of "social capital," the idea that social connections lead to healthier lives and communities. He will show how social capital has diminished. How, as a nation, we are less connected, and why this should concern us. Then he will make recommendations for what we, as individuals and as a group, can do to change it.
