Federal benefit recipients now have new choices for receiving their Social Security, SSDI, SSI, Veterans, retired railroad employee, retired military and retired Federal employee benefits. Payment recipients can choose Direct Deposit; a low-cost electronic transfer account (ETA); the Benefit Security Card (EBT); or continue to receive paper checks.
